Who we are

Zainfy (“we”, “us”) is a digital marketing agency for trade businesses, based in Bolton, Greater Manchester. We decide how the personal information in this policy is used, which makes us the data controller.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us or what we need to do the work:

Enquiry and growth plan forms: your name, business name, email, phone number, website, trade, area and anything you write in the message.
Emails and calls: what you tell us when you contact us directly.
Clients: contact and billing details, plus the access and data we need to run your marketing, such as your website, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and call tracking.

We do not collect payment card details through this website.

How we use it and why

To reply to your enquiry and send the growth plan you asked for. Basis: steps you asked us to take before a contract.
To deliver the services you buy from us, and to invoice you. Basis: our contract with you.
To keep financial and tax records. Basis: legal obligation.
To keep this website secure and working. Basis: our legitimate interests.

We do not sell your data. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list unless you ask to join one.

Who we share it with

We share your details only with the services we use to run the business, and only as far as they need:

Our website host and email provider, who store the forms and emails you send.
Google, Meta and other platforms we manage on your behalf as a client.
Our accountant, for invoices and tax records.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Where your data is handled

Some of our team and service providers work outside the UK. When your data is handled outside the UK, we make sure it is protected in line with UK GDPR, for example through the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or a UK adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 12 months from our last contact.
Client records: for as long as we work together, then up to 6 years for tax and legal reasons.

After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

Cookies

This website only uses the cookies it needs to work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies at the moment.

Some pages show a Google map. When a map loads, Google may set its own cookies. You can read how Google uses them in the Google Privacy Policy. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in future, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.

Our free tools

Our calculators and quote template run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is saved or sent to us.

Your rights

You have the right to:

ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
ask us to correct it
ask us to delete it
object to or restrict how we use it
ask us to move it to another provider

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
